In 2026–2027, a number of prestigious national and international research awards will be offered by leading organizations in education and science. These awards recognize outstanding achievements in educational research, educational policy, educational assessment, psychometrics, pedagogy, educational technology, and scientific innovation.

They provide valuable opportunities for researchers and educators to gain national and international recognition, enhance their professional development, and strengthen the research capacity and global visibility of DBO.


I. Republic of Kazakhstan

1. Y. Altynsarin Prize for Outstanding Research and Contributions in Pedagogy

Organizer: Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Focus: A national award recognizing outstanding scientific research and achievements in pedagogy and education.

Target audience: Researchers, university faculty, scientists, and research teams.

Application period: Annually (typically October–November, within 30 calendar days after the official announcement).

2. M.O. Auezov Prize for Young Scientists

4. Nailya Bazanova Award

II. International Research Awards

5. Yidan Prize

Organizer: Yidan Prize Foundation.

Focus: One of the world's most prestigious awards in education, presented in two categories:

  • Education Research

  • Education Development

Each laureate receives a gold medal together with HKD 30 million, comprising a cash award and a project development fund.
