Scientific and academic Council

The Scientific and academic Council of the "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" autonomous educational organization is an advisory body on issues related to the development of scientific activity and research management within the AEO.

Functions of the council:

• review and recommend the publication of scientific journals and research works;

• review and recommend approval of applications for grant and program-targeted funding, including the review of interim and final reports;

• review and recommend approval of candidates for awarding academic and honorary titles, personal scholarships, and prizes;

• review and recommend the nomination of AEO employees and subject teams for industry and government awards and honorary titles for their contributions to science;

• review and recommend decisions on fundamental issues related to the organization of scientific research activities within the AEO;

• review the programme for scientific internships.
