During 2024–2025, four training sessions will be held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Astana.
The training will involve 20 employees (one representative from each school), who will serve as project coordinators in their respective schools.
Training schedule:
- September 23–26, 2024;
- February 24–28, 2025;
- June 9–12, 2025;
- October 20–23, 2025.

- core concepts of Action Research;
- defining and reinforcing roles and responsibilities of team members in schools;
- creating an enabling conditions;
- developing facilitation and leadership skills;
- developing an Action Research project plan for the school;
- creating a teaching and learning vision;
- conducting reviews and evaluations of Action Research.
These training sessions are designed for an in-depth exploration of Action Research and the development of key competencies among participants. Participants will learn to use the Action Research method from planning and action, observation and reflection, enabling them to identify and address current issues, enhance teaching practices, and improve the quality of education in their schools.
Additionally, monthly mentoring and coaching sessions (2–3 hours each) will be conducted for every school. These sessions will assist with the introduction and implementation of the project, as well as meetings to discuss ongoing issues and receive feedback from critical friends-team colleagues.
